Calling All Volunteers!!  We Need You!  Volunteers are crucial to
the success of any school and district.  There are many interesting and
rewarding volunteer opportunities through which parents and community
members can support the Park County Re-2 School District.  The
importance of dynamic accountability committees and the impact of
those committees on the quality of the education in our district cannot
be underestimated.
There are a lot of ways to help the school. One way is to participate
monthly in DAC - District Accountability Committee. The DAC is an
important partner in the Board’s overall process; because DAC is
chartered by the Board, the Board is responsible for providing charges
annually in areas where the board is in need of specific feedback and
input.
DAC will be meeting on the following dates 2016-2017 5:30 to 7:30pm
in the administrative board room at the school in Fairplay on....
September 21
October 26
November 30
January 25
February 22

April 26
May 17

and improvement of the District’s parent engagement plan.
o     Provide feedback to the Board and administration on the
effectiveness of current district practices
o     Provide recommendations on how the District might better
engage with families in our  community
● DAC will make recommendations for budget priorities.
o     Provide input from community on budget priorities
o     Provide ideas on sources or alternative funding options
● DAC will provide the input on the 2016 UIP
o     Review the 20216 UIP (due for submission April 15 fo next year)
o     Provide comments on UIP to the board
